what is wellness?

this is a very unique and interesting topic. I believe that wellness is vital to our daily lives. for me wellness is eating nutritious food, being social with friends and family, doing something that challenges me physically, enjoying one of my many hobbies.

Wellness is different for every single person because we are all unique. you cant teach wellness but you can find out alot about a person by asking them questions about what brings them joy in their lives. you can tell them that exercise or eating a healthful diet is important but until they have something serious effect their health people are creatures of habit. we love comfort look at the food we eat.

people who take care of them selves are more productive and are more willing to help others, they want to be productive they want to see others succeed, Like attracts Like!! If you are consistently complaining keep attracting more of what they don’t want.  have you ever complained about something or someone and all it did was bring you more stress and more of what you don’t want?

it may sound like a bunch of BS but trust me it works, while i was in the hospital,a resting hear rate of 140 beats per minute, a negative atmosphere with multiple people saying that i am not doing so well, when i couldn’t even walk to the washroom 5 feet away, i believed that without a doubt i would become healthy again, my subconscious took over. i could have just gave up that would have been easy but i chose to think positive thoughts!! im not saying this to brag but to inspire you or someone you may know.

here are some of my  wellness tips:

– drink plenty of water try to drink tap water when you can because it has more minerals than purified water in a plastic container, use a reusable container, it may not seem like you don’t care about the environment but your body natrually does and your subconscious knows whats good and whats not!

GET EXERCISE in nature, especially if you can go somewhere there is no cell service for at least an hour. leave your phone in your car. Our connection with nature is vital to our spirit and our mental health. listen to birds, the bugs, all of this is truly magical. The forest is alive with life. its an excellent place to collect your thoughts, to d-stress, maybe even provide you with inspiration for your next project or something else.

TAKE TIME FOR YOURSELF: We all live such busy lives these days, raising a family, running  a business, trying to pay the bills, have to watch your shows on TV etc. take some time out of your day to be selfish its important then you can listen to your body, your thoughts, how your feeling emotionally, how your feeling spiritually. this is vital cause if you can not take care of your problems how can you help your children or your wife/husband a coworker etc.

i hope i have provided you with some incite to maybe an area of your life that you could be more proactive in.
